Acrobatics (DEX); the skill of body control, used for climbing, dodging and acts of balance Artillery: the skill of using and maintaining artillery.

Barter (CHA): the skill for appraising and haggling for the best price when dealing with buying or selling gods and wares.

Bluff (CHA); the skill of lying, bluffing and obfuscating the truth.

Brawling (DEX): the skill of using the body as a weapon, subduing an opponent with use of fists, feet and grabs. Cartography: the skill to read and write maps and star charts.

Combat experience: the skill of dealing with the stress of combat, to maintain focus in potentially deadly situations.

Disguise: the skill of using and applying a disguise.

Etiquette (CHA): the skill of knowing how to act correct in specific circles. Explosives: the skill for using, setting and adapting explosives.

Gambling: the skill to read and deal with gambling. Rifle (PER): the skill for using and maintaining a rifle. Piloting: the skill for steering and navigating vehicles.

Leadership: the skill of dealing, leading and maintaining morale of people.

<Language>: the skill of speaking and understanding a particular language Medicine: the skill of treating and caring for wounds and diseases.

Military maneuver: the skill for fighting, commanding, and moving efficiently in and on a field of battle. Mechanics: the skill of using and maintaining mechanical equipment and contraptions.

Navigation: the skill navigating and plotting courses for large vessels by map, stars or landmark. Persuasion: the skill of changing hearts and minds.

Pistol (PER): the skill of using and maintaining a pistol.

Read & Write: the skill of constructing and understanding written language Repair: the skill to maintain and restore material things and contraptions.

Ship battle: the skill of leading and planning battles between ships, both in water and in air. Shady dealing: the skill of handling illegal goods and information.

Stealth (DEX): the skill of moving silently and hiding. Search: the skill of investigating and scouting.

-Anatomy; knowledge of the body, its parts and its functions.

-Astronomy; knowledge of celestial bodies and objects, and their nature.

-Ballistics: the knowledge of the motion of projectiles.

Languages –

-Common speak; spoken primarily in the Commonwealth and its colonies.

-Hauberian; spoken primarily in the Hauberian Empire and its colonies.

-Tukharian; spoken primarily in the Tukhan kingdoms and among the different Kuvmac clans with little variation between clans.

Kazaik; spoken primarily by all Dworig with slight variations depending on the region. Referred to as Kazaik as this is the most common form of the language encountered.

-Ailvu high speak – spoken by the Ailvu of the high culture. While sharing the same base, it is distinctly different from the Ailvu low speak. Only Ailvu of rank are allowed to speak and use this language.

Ailvu low speak – spoken by the Ailvu of the low culture. While sharing the same base, it is distinctly different from the Ailvu high speak. This language is the common language for the Ailvu and the only form that is allowed to those not of the high culture. It is also the only form of language that foreigners can learn.

-Trulr – A crude language mostly containing grunts and gestures used by the Trulr. It has no formalized letter and instead uses a sort of pictorial script to convey rough ideas and concepts, which often are misinterpreted.

-Medtrian; Spoken in Medtria and areas colonized by them.
