The great Archipelago

The great archipelago lies in the great sea more or less right in the middle between Evperia to the north, greater Stora to the east and Midori to the south. Consisting islands of varying sizes with varying flora and fauna being anything from green and fertile to barren and rocky, some even desert-like. The exact amount of islands has yet to be established, but the myriad of both bigger and smaller creates an almost maze like appearance that makes navigation a challenge. Many islands have active volcanoes and experience earthquakes regularly. It is not uncommon for new islands to form as underwater volcanoes bubble up to the surface. Not as common but not unheard of are islands that disappear, either by being sundered by earthquakes or by volcanic activity destroying them.
